mpumalanga---having-your-breath-taken-away
We decided to spend the school holidays doing some sight seeing in Mpumulanga. One of the places we visited was God’s Window. At arriving at God's Window there is a small hike from the parking area to the different view points. The hike can be a bit strenuous but trust me it is really worth the effort. Once you have seen the view from atop you would understand why it is called God’s Window. It is simply breath taking just standing there and seeing nature as far as the eye can see. My advice would be to make sure that you go to God's Window when the weather is clear. The weather was a bit overcast which made it somewhat difficult to snap good photos - nevertheless the view is still absolutely mesmerising.
Another beautiful place to see is Bourke's Luck Pot. The waterfalls is amazing and you are able to cross the canyon and walk in the river leading to the waterfalls. The water is so clear and clean. If you like snapping good photos, Bourke's Luck Pot will offer you a variety of different and stunning back drops. Once you are done at the waterfalls there is a picnic area with braai facilities that can be used for a relaxing afternoon picnic or braai.
My family and I had a stunning time in Mpumalanga. This part of the country for me still remains the most beautiful region in South Africa. Absolutely stunning.
